My speakers and mike work fine, except when I go into Skype, then the sound does not work. When I use the test speakers, the green lines move as though the sound is there, but I cannot hear it. The mute is not on. Gene

There were only two options as fr as speakers are concerned. I tried both and neither one worked. When I tested the speakers, the green line moved as though there was a sound, but nothing came through.

Hello. just a thought. Maybe your download of Skype was somehow corrupted. You may want to uninstall and then do a reinstall .
