The thing here is that Its a windows 7, died while doing windows update, won't start at all, I can't run windows repair neither from nor from laptop itself as it will go on to the blue desktop backgroud which appears before the login the page and hang there forever.
Nothing works, last good config etc etc..
Its a windows 7 home premuim and don't have that specific cd, client is off site so I can't send the cd..
Does you guys think factory restore isthe way to go.. and yea hard drive is encrpyted but can view if I use "windirstat" I guess havn't try as i havn't seen the laptop.. doing that remotely..
hmm thanks.. but its not that easy anymore as when I try to do the system recovery the laptop freezes as well.. so thinking there might be a a recovery that comes with the laptop.. I'm working on it over the phone with a client so can't see really..
thanks brink
HI brink,
This issue is fixed, Got the laptop sent to me.. what i did is removed the hard drive, format the other partition, as it was encrupted and couldn't access it. Not the reserve partition which is the recovery partition.
Put back the hard drive, press F10, to boot to partition and did a factory restore.. worked as a legend..
