Sound distorted and stuttering in windowed mode.

That's the driver we were trying to install earlier but couldn't find a free source. Everything was those driver update softwares. Hopefully this will work.

Should I uninstall my current audio driver before installing this?

Because when I installed the new one it gave me this error:
The audio driver files do not support your computer hardware.

Note: If you uninstalled audio software without restarting PC, do so now and try again.

I think the problem is that your onboard chipset is unplugged. I don't know what they did when they repaired your computer. Maybe you could ask those people.
