Hi, My sp2 update failed. Error_Not_Found (0x80070490). So far ran sfc and it found and corrected two reg errors. Tried to install again and same error. I do not have the os on cd. Any help? Thanks

Ok, hold on a minute, some of us are still reeling from the recession... Meaning I cannot afford one of those fancy programs to fix my registry errors. I rely on my computer to find work and all, now where can I get one of these for free? Why would you expect me to pay for it anyways when I have a registered os and tech support should step in and make things right?

You could use Ccleaner which is free but i wouldn't mess with the registry because you are more likely deleting the wrong entry and messing up your computer than deleting the right entry you want to. if you must mess with it always back up the registry!!!
