I have used Spybot in the past and found it to be ok but after reading some posts on this and other forums i gave Malwarebytes a go, it seems to me to be less intrusive on the system and does eveything i need from an anti-spyware program, but im sure there will be people who disagree with me, they are free programs so give them a go and see which you prefer, good luck.

I have run spybot for years, and have never had a problem. I recently added Malwarebytes to my arsenal, since they recently added x64 support.

I used to run spybot years ago , a friend has it now and its FAR too intrusive , its more annoying than UAC , im assuming you could turn this feature off at install though
