SxS Error

When i do the :

Click Start
, type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

Cbs.log cannot be opened, im tired of these vista errors with SxS.

Have you been running non-standard disk and/or registry "cleaners", or any type of utility which would attempt to "optimise" your system somehow?

The simplest answer is that something or someone has just deleted the necessary files out of the SxS repository.

I noticed the problem a while back and when i was running a program that i no longer use so i really didnt care so when i tried to use this other program a similar error occured.


This error occured after doing a Windows Update.
