system restore point

hi hope i'm posting in the right place as this is my first question:

i want to know when i have manually created a restore point can i save it on a disk. the reason i ask is i made one yesterday checked it was done and then when i had a problem today i went back for it and it had been removed along with all previously stored ones. thanks:D

It must stay on the same drive as the original.
That is one of the limitations of SR, sorry,
But you can make back ups
Make a back up and keep it updated for the unexpected situations

Be sure that other software is not erasing the points and that you have enough space for the points.

Did you use any Cleanup uttilities? as these may Delete Restore Points

Just an outside chance......

Are you using Dual Boot ?
