System Restore problem

Tried to do a System Restore today and the programme seems to have disappeared from my computer. There is no trace of it. I get a notice saying 'the shadow copy provider had an unexpected error. 0x8004230F'.Can I do a System Recovery and how would that affect other installed programs?

You were probably using some registry cleaner or you changed the registry yourself. Here are some solutions

Also make a complete anti virus scan download and make a full scan with the free malwarebytes
