Here's how you create a new System Restore date:

Go to: Control Panel, then: System. In left column, under Tasks, select EITHER: System Protection OR Advanced System Settings (They take you to the same screen.)
Opens up: System Properties page.
Select: System Protection tab.
To see current Restore Points, select: System Restore
To create a new Restore Point, go down below, “You can create a restore point right now. . . “Create"

Go to start search type cmd, hold shift and ctrl and press enter.
Cut and paste this command into the box and press enter.

vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage /For=C: /On=C: /Maxsize=18GB

This is the size I use but change the 18 to whatever you want to use.

If there is no box on the left, bottom of those dates, you cananot go back any further. You did not give SR enough Hard Drive space to make the required points. I suggest that you increase the space allocated to System Restore, when this is problem is fixed.
Its too late to do anything, now, with System Restore and the currrent change that you want to make.
