Well my delicate little flower is in danger of being whipper-snipped...

I've had at least 9 Black screens of death since yesterday (I'm not even getting blue screens now) and it has crashed numerous times while POSTing.

It looks like I've got some failing hardware, but I really am not in the mood to waste hours by removing components and running diagnostics.

So far it's either:
PSU
Video card/s
Motherboard
RAM

Basically, it could be bloody anything :rolleyes:

The kicking foot and whipper-snipper have been sheathed for the time being.

I've removed one of my video cards and reset my machine back to stock settings (everything auto in the bios - oh the shame of it :cry: ) and so far so good.

Next step is to swap the cards around and see if the problem resurfaces. If it doesn't, then I either have a dud PSU or dud motherboard.

Ahh, the joys of trouble shooting :rolleyes:

At the very least I give a good impression of it :roflmao:

At this stage, I am hoping it is a dud card. Now is a bad time to upgrade (very low stock available for the parts that I'm after. It doesn't help that I vacillate far too much either - damn new tech that's 'always around the corner' :p )

thats why you should never sell your old hardware , you can remove something new and plug in something old till it starts working again ;)
