I am trying to run a clean install after my computer crashed and the unmountable boot volume problem arose. When I try to Boot From CD/DVD, Windows loads (long white bar on bottom fills up over a minute or two), it starts the next Windows Corporation page that looks as if it's starting up the computer, then simply freezes on a black screen. My boot order is CD/DVD first and I am booting to the original OS disk. (If I try to Start Computer it comes to the blue screen of death, and when I try system repair it returns to that screen.)

Any ideas or links as to how to start the clean sweep/reinstallation process? Is there software I need to run a clean sweep?

Thanks.
