Okay. I did a factory restore on my Compaq Presarion F750US and came back with no CDDVDW drive. It not only doesn't show the device when I open Computer but it is also not listed under Devices. I don't know how to find and download the driver?

Hi Salcutugno,

Can you please check device manager and check if the drive is listed over there or not.

In case it is listed with a ? or a ! mark then run this file

in case that does not fix it then

go to F8 (Advanced Options Menu) and press enter on "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"

In case it is not listed in device manager then check if the drive is detected in BIOS or not
