I have vista 64 bit, Recently when inserting a dvd disc with a movie in dvd format and trying to view the contents via Windows Explorer I get a dialogue box opens asking me if I want to prepare the dvd disc for formatting. I can't view the contents in windows Explorer. It plays as per normal in Windows Media player and the dvd under my tv. It's not a rewriteable disc.
I know there can't be any formatting done on the disc cos it already write protected when the movie was burned to it. The movies on the disc were originally AVI's which I converted to dvd using Convert X.
If I put a dvd into the drive containg various files I can read them as normal, Anyone know what is causing the above problem ?
