The ECS company is not doing anything since the Email fro their support confirming the issue 15 days ago.

I called them. They said they tested it on the motherboard and did not have any problems. Their recommendation now is that I should detach the drive that has Windows 7 on it and re-install my Window Vista software without attaching the second harddrive.

I am going to do that since I have to so that they can determine if its that or the chip on the mobo that is bad.

It did work. I disconnected the HDD with Windows 7 and reinstalled Vista on my Primary HDD and it worked. This time around, I did not install any SP for Vista nor any automatic updates during the install. I will have to be more careful to allow the automatic updates.
