Vista Firewall Control is a standalone app

Vista Firewall Control : Sphinx Software
It's not a control type app for the built in vista firewall. It works great and i have been using it for almost a month now with no issues what so ever. The name might be misleading but it is a stand alone app. I have the Vista firewall completey turned off an am using Vista Firewall Control only.

The vista firewall control is a stand alone app. But it is not a firewall. It gives you an easy to use GUI for the Vista firewall. If you have the Vista firewall disabled you have "NO" firewall at all running on your system.

Hi Msantana,

I tried that before and it is just about the same as the one that is built into Vista already.
