Hello there!
First things first. I'd like to say I'm not really computer-minded and I don't know a lot about it. I'm sorry for that. This means the answer will be most likely easy to most of the readers here. If it's a difficult solution, then please keep in mind I'm not so good with computers ( I do know the basics though ) and try to explain with as much details as possible. I'd like to thank you for this! I'd also like to aplologise for my English not being so perfect
So here's my problem :
Last week I've brought my computer to the shops for them to install a new graphic card, new ram memory, a new CPU and new power supply.
Before I brought it to the shops, I had the following specs :
2 GB ram 666Mhz (2x1GB)
Asus P5N-E SLI Motherboard
ATI Radeon x1950 Pro graphic card
A 400 watt power supply
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz
Windows Vista Home Premium
After the installation, I had the exact same specs, only the following changed :
Processor => Intel Q6600 2.4 Ghz
Graphic card => Nvidia N260 GTX
Power supply => 750 watt
Memory => 8 GB Ram DDR2 800 Mhz ( 4x2 GB )
I also asked the guy to format my pc due the fact it was rather slow the last few months.
So I received my pc back the day before yesterday. Everything went well untill I had a BSOD. I ignored it and rebooted, but now I have those BSOD's very often ( sometimes I just get it when I boot my computer ). So I started to note down the errors and google it after. it turned out I received lots of different errors such as :
- 0x0000003B
- 0x0000001A
- 0x0000000A
- 0x0000001E
- 0x000000C4
- 0x00000050
- 0x00000109
- c000007b
And there was some text as well such as IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and PAGE_FAULT_IN_A_NONPAGE_AREA ( these are the ones I remember )
And I'm sure there were others which I forgot to note down. I googled those errors and it turned out they have something to do with my 8GB memory but I never found a solution and as I said before, I'm not really good at it so I'm probably not going to find the solution by myself. that's why I hope you guys can help me fixing this nasty problem.
thanks in advance and I hope to see a reply soon!
