Vista Installation error 0x80004005

I am trying to reinstall Vista Pro (32 bit) on my Toshiba Satellite L305 laptop and I get the following error:

This computer does not have enough space for temporary files.
Windows installation need at lest 392 megabytes (MB) of space on any partition for temporary files. To install Windows, free enough space and restart the installation. Can anyone please help? Student indeed in need!

I think that the first question should be, do you have enough space?

What type of install clean install or upgrade install or repair install.
With clean you are formatting before install
Upgrade you are just installing over the old OS.

Are you using the Toshiba Recovery Disk's?

I wish. Lost all original disks in relocation. I'm actually using a copy of Vista. I've used it before so I know it's good.

If you are doing a clean install, when you see the options: upgrade or custom or advanced, hit advanced.

Allow me to give you another little hint. You can watch a clean install on youtube, I know I did when I installed Windows 7
