so i don't need an installation disk and is it meant to be 2gb cause that is a lot and it says its gonna take three hours at 200kbps

It's 2.78gb, and that's a normal size for a Vista x86 ISO. It's not easy to install a system directly from an ISO, you'd be far better burning it to DVD or to a USB Flash drive as linked in the email I sent.

Hi again guys,

I downloaded and dragged the file to my USB key but my Dell laptop doesn't reboot from it. Will it reboot if my friend puts it on a disk?

Firstly it's zipped so you have to right-click, go to Properties and make sure it's unblocked and then extract if to your desktop,, secondly I linked the tutorial on how to boot from a USB drive in my email.

I didn't have any problems unzipping it but I don't have administration access on the computer that I was using so I wasn't able to install anything. The file is on my USB key and I wanted to ask if it will reboot my Dell laptop if my friend burns it to DVD?

The USB tute has to be done by someone with Admin rights. so they will have to do all that. But any questions you have should be posted in that tute thread. I've never done it that way.
