Hey Ex Brit! I'm trying to reboot my Windows Vista with a recovery disc, but have been unsuccessful. Is a link still available for Vista 64x Home Premium?

I just discovered a good, clean source from where you can download a Vista ISO. You need to have your product key (e.g. from the COA sticker on your PC).

Hi there, i purchased a new Dell Inspiron 1525 from Best Buy about 5yrs ago. It came with Windows Vista Home Premium already installed. It's worked great, but just last month it started freezing and crashed a few times. Dell helped me run a test and they informed me that my hard drive was dying. So i replaced it with a new one i purchased online. However, i do not have a OS cd so i downloaded your links above and was able to install Windows Vista Home Premium using the product key on the bottom of my laptop) and did all the SP1 and SP2 updates and Dell driver installations. It seems to be working great, but the next day i got this notice that popped on the screen saying that "the key entered is invalid for activation.To activate you will need to use the phone activation system." so i have to click on either of the three choices "(1)Use the automated system (2) buy a new product key online (3) Type a different product key". So now i just don't know what to do....Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the automated system. They may quibble a bit but explain about the hard drive dying.
