Vista ISO download

@SIW2 I really want to integrate the USB 3 drivers into the install.wim, but I can't find any way to make Vista see that the drivers are signed.

Please let me know how you made it work in the boot.wim.

Which usb3drivers? the usbstack I used needs the driver framework update installed first. windows6.0-kb2864202-%arch%.msu

The easiest way to install the update and the drivers into install.wim is to use VuiSetup

I assumed you used the MDL stack, but I will try this one.

Boot.wim has been prepped, so updates cant be integrated in the normal way, I added the update manually, then used peimg to integrate the drivers.

Install.wim is easier, particularly if using vuisetup.

Trouble is, it's dated 2009, so it won't have all the updates generated since then and a lot of people use 64 bit. S1W2 has ISO's in all flavors with all the updates included.

I just created a new account a moment ago on the VistaForums to be able to view and download cursor packs for Windows Vista. Cursor sets for Windows Vista are scarce, so this site is the proper one to find Vista cursor sets for that operating system. I joined this website on August 12th 2020. Thanks Ex_Brit.

Cesare- how does one know if it has all the updates?

SIW2 has an ISO with all the updates for every Vista flavor.

I do not know whether or not Windows SP2 has all the updates, but for sure you will get Service Pack 2 pre-installed with the installation when you install Windows Vista. You can also slipstream all the updates beyond Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista using a slipstreaming software application called NTLite.

First of all would like to Thank lmacri for the quick reply to my post for help with downloading SP 1 & SP2 after i reloaded my vista os. It was suggested that I request a "fully updated" ISO that includes SP1 and SP2 as well as all ~200 Vista security updates released prior to 11-Apr-2017. I have a 32bit operating system.
