Vista Novice asking for installation advice!

I would like to create my first Vista install.
I have a Retail Copy of Windows Vista Ultimate that I purchased off of the Internet, Service Pack 1.
I have the following hardware to install it on:
CPU
Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz 40 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Hewlett-Packard 3398 (Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz) 28 °C
Graphics
C32F391 (1920x1080@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (HP)
Storage
1863GB ATA CT2000MX500SSD1 SCSI Disk Device (SATA (SSD))
1907GB ATA JAJMS600M2TB SCSI Disk Device (SATA (SSD))
Optical Drives
hp CDDVDW SN-208DB SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio
PS2 Keyboard and Mouse

Will experienced Vista Users please give this Software / Hardware combination a glance and alert me of any obvious does or don'ts.
Referrals to Beginner How To's that are easily understood and reasonably current / accurate with regard to Vista would be appreciated.

the 3770 would work perfectly with vista (its ivybridge) and there's a driver on msfn for the HD 4000 that might help with getting the graphics installed all of that is perfectly capable of running vista (the realtek audio will probably be bad) I'm running a similar computer the hp elite 8300 and it can run vista very well for a 2012 desktop

I am trying to learn how to edit my Posts and Update my Hardware Profile.
Years back I tried Vista but never succeeded in getting it running.
This will be a fresh start for me.

make sure you turn fast boot off before installing (vista won't install with that on)

You won't be able to update to SP2 unless you find it somewhere. I can give you an ISO which contains all versions of Vista which is up to date through normal EOL in 2017. However, you would need to burn it to disc as a bootable disc.

Intel graphics drivers haven’t supported Vista for a very long time, but a modified driver “might help,” true.

You won't be able to update to SP2 unless you find it somewhere.

You could find it at Microsoft Update Catalog by searching for windows vista service pack standalone.
