Vista Recovery Options

Hello, I just got my grandfather laptop but nobody in my family knows the password, i saw like 10 differents way to get it back but nothing works.
I want to try using Recovery options but I don't think I'm doing it with the good ISO file, when I boot it on the Windows Vista Home Premium Edition and go to Recover it says "This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of windows you are trying to repair." I tried something like 4 different ISO files but I don't think I'm doing it well, could anyone help me ?

well let's just say that I can't get an iso that wont say the windows version isn't the good one

Are you able to get into safe mode?

yep but Admin session isn't available

I'm going by memory because I don't want to reboot at the moment. Can you go to Control Panel, System? If so, which version (Home, Pro, etc.) of Vista does it say you have.

I can't go further than the log in instance

I'm saying to do that from safe mode. Are you saying you need a password to get into safe mode?

Ahh well I can go to the panel that asks me with which option i wanna launch like Safe Mode, w/ internet, memory diag and more

and when I go with Safe Mode it displays like 30 code lines and the computer sessions asks me a password to connect

Looks like you're going to need to look around the internet for software to help you with this issue.
