Hey guys, new member to the forums. Well, my computer has been giving me a whole bunch of problems lately. I wanted to switch from Vista to Win7 so I started backing up my files onto an external harddrive a few weeks ago. After I started doing that, I turned off my computer and went out. When I came back, my computer didn't turn back on. I figured it was the PSU or Mobo. I got a new PSU and it worked perfectly. Then I shut it off again after using it for a while, and now when I try to start it a black screen appears saying the following:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1.Insert your windows installation disc and restart the computer.
2.choose your language settings and then click next.
3.click repair your computer.
Other options:
if power was interrupted during startup, choose start Windows Normally. (Use the arrow keys to highlight your choice.)
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Last known good configuartion (advanced)
Start windows normally
I've tried all the options and every option just gets me to the Vista boot screen. And it doesn't get to the login screen. Please help.
