My computer goes to sleep on its on while, I am using it.

How do I completely disable the sleep feature of Vista x64 Ultimate? I have already disabled, hybrid sleep (power options). and hibernate (powercfg -h off in command).

I want to completely disable sleep? I tried finding it in BIOS could not find it and no other place. Please give me some help!!!

Thanks

hahahah calm down bud, people don't just sit here 24/7 in wait to help others..

You say you've tried; Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options -> "Put Computer to Sleep: "Never""
and BIOS options?

In that case, try this; Disable Hybrid Sleep Mode in Windows Vista

ok will do so now. Sorry for being so pushy.

I also noticed when my computer to sleep on its it is usually really hot? Is this possible that temperature has something to do with?

I have a thinkpad t61 and it gets hot when i stick it in the corner of my desk hence vents blocked. or when I used on the couch. it get really really hot and it sleep right after i turn back on from sleep.

If you have sleep and hybrid sleep and hibernate turned off, and you know your battery is okay [or this also happens when you're plugged in], I would say then that it may well be a heat issue.

In that case, there's not really a whole lot you can do. Obviously keep the case well ventilated [you could look into one of those 'lap coolers' or whatever they are] or look for fan-related BIOS options [to keep the fan on maximum speed].

Edit: if you can't keep the vent clear of obstruction, this is what i mean by a lap cooler

or something like that.
