Hi guys. I know this is for Vista. but , I have a friend who uses XP SP3 and she has issues with VPN not connecting. gets an error of this : Reason 429 Unable to resolve server address. She used another server site and got connected. Is there anything she can do to use her regular server site or did she do the only thing possible ?

Per the cisco help desk

cable problem could be the cause. Check whether the basic network is functioning.
A fixed (static) IP address can cause this error as well. Configure the settings for tcp/ip so as to
automatically obtain an ip address
A DNS problem can also be a possible cause.

OKay. yeah , i did mention to her about DNS cache flush. Will pass along to her that info. Thanks . When it comes to VPN stuff. i get lost .
