Webcam Driver Error

Hi there!
I just bought a webcam for my desktop pc.It's a TRUST WB-3250p. I install the proper Vistax64 drivers from the TRUST site and I successfully finished the installation.When I try to run the AMCap [as I was told by the manual] I get this error :
"ERROR 80004002 Cannot find VCapture:IAMSteamConfig".
I try to uninstall and install once again the device but the problem remains.
The same webcam worked perfectly in a win XP sp2 op.system.
So,I contacted the TRUST Helpdesk about the problem but I still wait for an answer.
So,can anyone help me with this one or even propose a solution/suggestion..?
HELP ME GUYS, I AM REALLY DESPERATE...

Got same problem, no solution yet.

However, if cause of yours is same as mine, that message may be irrelevant as AMcap is not actually seeing the Trust device, just the basic HP starter camera device. If the Trust device is not shown, have a look at device manager.

I have Trust Webcam 15082 there but it is marked as in error with device status as "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

Maybe someone has some clues on that one. Cheers.

Trust just said try a different USB port, uninstal, check the type, either 15082 or 15082-2 on CD label and instal appropriate driver from their site but I just ran into an instal error, missing vnsp something.

However, using a different port I did do uninstal and reinstal yet again from CD and 3rd time round (at least) it worked! The Windows instal popup thing said installing Trust camera and not Basic HP starter camera this time. I think (but could not swear to it) I had the camera plugged in during instal, that may be relevant.

Vista is crud and had this sort of wierd thing before with other hardware. It might be worth you doing same, uninstall, reinstall, try diff ports, try camera in and out. Might sort it.
