Maybe if the association of Farmhands and Cows, in Kentucky, or Tennessee, or North Dakota, were made, then others may get the gist of the innuendo.

At Waiouru Camp, a large NZ Army Training Group, established on the high, windswept and bloody cold, central volcanic and desert plateau of the North Island, the sheep, Corridales [I think], were referred to by the great unwashed, as either "Waiouru Blondes", or "Harding's Whores"....[Harding was the Run Leaseholder].
