boy ur internet is fast. Mines only like 2.3mbs maby even 3mbs at the most

usually, it is around 65-70 MB DL, 2.5 MB UL

I don't mean to put you guys to shame but our here in the Boonie's the only option is Dial up from Earthlink, my bud has Hughes Net but they have a LIMIT of downloads per day(something like 200mb! @170kb/s max).
Now since running speedtest.net would probably take an hour you'll just have to take my word that my average download is 3kb/s, sometimes as high as 3.2kb/s!
In a few weeks I'll be going to college and have 8mb/s, talk about heaven!

Well being that there isn't a Walmart or Best Buy within a 60 mile radius and i'm 15 miles from the nearest town (population 3000) there's not really anything to do about it.
I've gone the last 3 years with dial up and CAN'T WAIT to get high speed.

Looks like my service provider bumped me up a little...finally broke 10MB/sec.
Fast enough for me...no complaints here.:p

i think my isp is working on my area download speed shot up from 2.2 to 3.2mbs there are loads of BT (my isp) vans around and there doing something with the telephone exchange. Firbe optic cable maybe?
