When I reply to an email, my default email address is not the first one that pops up

I have windows mail. When I create a new email, my default email address shows up. But when I reply to an email, my default email address is not the first one that shows up. If it is set as me default email, why does it do that?

If the sender used the non default address, that is the one that shows up first.

Nope, not in this case. They have all been sent to my default email address. Hmmm
