Solved Where can I install Active X

I mistakenly uninstalled the Actve X control and cannot find where to reinstall it.

I have Windows Vista 64 Bit Home Premium . I also have IE9 64 Bit and 32Bit installed. I use the IE 32 bit because it is faster.

So , can someone tell me where to go to install Actve X. And which one ,

64 Bit or 32 Bit.

If that's not it please provide more info. What activex did you "delete" and do you get an error message when you try to run IE?

I don't use IE so I've never heard of this problem.

That link took me to download IE. Which I already have. I accidentially deleted the Adobe Active X control in the add/remove programs and now Adobe will not install using IE. When I go to see a video , it tells me that I need to update Adobe Flash Player and when I try to install it , it will not install.

My problem is getting Adobe Flash Player to install. Not IE

If I do a directory of *.ocx, which is the extension for active x controls, I get 138. So when you say you accidentally uninstalled "the activex" I had no way to get a clue other than you mentioned IE.
