brink, what channel is best for wifi use in your considered opinion?

That would really depend on what you may find is best in your area if you have interference from other WiFi networks in the area or not. Personally, using the default and/or to let it auto select channels as needed works fine for me.

..thats kind of why I asked, because using autoselect left me with a wifi problem that for weeks I thought was my 3ds, but eventually encompassed my nook color and laptop in terms of inability to connect to the net.

races on mariokart 7 take forever/and/or dont happen, I get booted mid race, etc.

hence my asking what channels are optimal for use.

Unfortunately, it's pretty much a try and see deal with channels.

Usually autoselect works best unless it's roaming aggressiveness is set to high, then that may cause issues.
