Widows Live Call & Telefonica

I use a HP dv7-1242cl x64 with the built in webcam & microphone. I also add
that my security is with Avira & Windows Defender.

Yesterday I signed up with Windows Live Call which is processed thru Telefonica. My situation is that I can call, hear the phone ring, but they
can hear me speaking and I can not hear their responses. I tried several
times to adjust the audio features but nothing seems to work.

As a test I used SKYPE and called the same number with no problem.

Does anyone know if this Windows Live Call requires any special setup.
Also I'm wondering if my security has something to do with it.
