win update wants to install wrong driver...or not
hey guys
Why does windows update want to install, driver update for NVIDIA nForce 590/570/550 Serial ATA Controller, when i have a nforce 680i m/b?
should i ignore it?
Or have i just got my numbers mixed up.

I dont let windows update any mobo drivers. If you want to update the mobo drivers go to thier website. (this is only personal preference).

and just noticed i must have i must have d/l the drivers for 590 and so on came down in a windows update when i first installed vista
if i go to the asus website can i intall the drivers for the 680i
Nvidia is prolly ya best bet and i believe they just released new drivers for this board. nFORCE v18.07 Vista .
my puter is working fine on the 1508's so i might leave it alone for now.
