After a month of using VISTA 32bit Ultimate Edition and using Windows Media player 11 I had absolutely no problems.

Now in the second month,Im noticing that Only Mp3 Files start cutting/or skipping in my PC WITHOUT ANY ERROR MSG.

But Any other file format like Wav and Mpeg vidoes seems to work perfectly well.

I tried playing Mp3 files in Real player& Winamp, it works perfectly well.

So why suddenly only MP3 Files seem to start cutting on my Vista 32bit System?

Pls find a solution to the problem

I tried scanning for spywares, still no point...

It could be a codec issue. You may want to ensure that you have your WMP11 set to download them automatically.

Also, the MS website has a number of codecs available for download.

One other thing to try would be a disk defragment.

Just to add to the above....Have you done some kind of registry cleaning in the past month, or any other maintenance?

Yes I have Done registry cleaning , but what that has to do since MP3 Files are working with other kinds of Players well.

I used CCleaner recently.

Sop whats the solution now?

It could be that the cleaner has got rid of the WMP codecs to play mp3s in WMP only. WMP 11 is a very tempremental player and anything that is missing that was installed as part of the OS will cause it to have a Duck Fit. Im not saying for definate that it IS the case, but a possibility. Using CCleaner on my system totally fcked it up. I had to do a reinstall!
As for a solution....you could try a system file check. There is a run though in the Tutorial section. Anything else, well I dont personally know anything as Ive never come across this SPECIFIC problem. Good Luck.
