windows vista 64 bit

hello,

I have windows vista home premium 32 bit.
is there a way to get 64 bit? without spending money?
so like a update or something like that.

PS: I have windows vista disc, Operating system - Recovery DVD.

If it came preinstalled and you want 32 bit, you may be able to get it for a small service charge by calling MS or your computer manufacturer. There would be no way to get it for free.

well I really dont understand much about computers and all that stuff :P

but I got windows vista home premium already on my hard disc so like I got the CD on my hard driver.

It sounds like that when you bought your computer it came with the Vista, OS. If that is true, you will have to follow my above post.

MS= Microsoft. Your best bet would be your computer manufacturer. You may be able to talk them into charging just shipping. Maybe, 10 or 20 dollars.

Silly question, I know, but is your computer a 64-bit capable system?

Check in Control Panel > Device Manager, click on the + sign beside Computer. If it says x86-based, you can't use a 64-bit OS.
