Windows Vista Help

I have windows vista as my operating system, I have two hard drives a 40 GB and a 75 GB. 40 GB is the main hard drive while the 75 GB is just used for storage, well I have some folders on the 40 GB that are also on my 75 GB, I go to delete the ones on my 40 GB and it says I need permission even tho I'm the computer administrator, I tried the Comman Prompt and it still didn't work, how do I go about fixing that to where I can delete files if I don't need them? These files are not associated with Vista. They're actually Ipod Folders (with Ipod Bin and Services) and Real Player Folder, I've tried deleting them, even downloaded the take ownership and still couldn't delete them, I've tried everything I know how and can't delete them. Any help?

I would I need to uninstall then reinstall my apple ipod hardware as well as real player or can I bypass all that?

It finally let me delete the real player folder but now it won't let me delete the ipod folder off my C drive even tho I have it on my D drive. It won't let me delete the Ipod Service or the Ipod Resources or IpodService.dll

You're trying to delete installed program folders and files? Did you run the uninstaller for these programs first? Generally, this is the proper way to remove programs. The system will try to prevent you from directly deleting them, but not always. It sounds like you may have inadvertently compromised your security profile. You should also try creating a new Administrator account and then copy your personal files (data, images, etc) from your other account to the new one (you can easily do this by copying to the Public folders first, then moving them off to the new account personal folders).

Ipod software isn't installed. I may have to uninstall Itunes and re-install it and see if that helps. It may not since the folder is an Ipod folder. the file it isn't letting me delete is IpodService.dll

That file may be in use. It is an iTunes program file. If iTunes is installed, then you have "iPod software" installed (it is used for iPods, iPads, iPhones, etc). When you boot up, several Apple services are started automatically, like an iTunes agent (that probably uses this file), if you installed it with accepting the default configuration. If you want to keep iTunes, then leave this file alone. Apple does load some services upon start-up that you can turn off either in the iTunes configuration panel or via msconfig. Some people reduce the processing and memory footprint consumed by boot up services to help improve system performance.

After clicking on the last step (system) it brings up your system hardware, what your running, manufacture and everything, scroll down and it says 10 days left to activate windows, activate windows now, click on activate windows now, and right below that it gives the product key, I go to type it in and it doesn't take it because it has a "0" in the number....

I know that you are getting nervous, but don't we will resolve this. In addition I know how to extend that 10 days.
Did you buy your computer with Vista installed?
