Solved Wordpad

Just recently, I'm not able to open Wordpad program. When I clicked on it, it said "Failed to create empty document". Could someone help me with this issue? I'm using Vista home premium 32 bits. Thanks in advance.

First of all could you try and Run an SFC /scannow

Hello shadowjk,

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried scf /scannow, it went to 68% completion then I got this "windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation"...I'm not really sure what's the meaning of that message.

So I decided to run chkdsk and it works. I've got my wordpad back. Thanks again for ur reply.
