Solved .zip Files

Hey guys! Wondering if you can help me with this question:

Am I able to delete the .zip files after I extract them?

Well what if you are opening programs in the extracted files, can you still delete them?

After you have extracted programs and installed them, then yes you can delete the extracted files, once the program is up and running, Patch41

.zip files are just containers. I think the best way to explain it is with an example.

Say you've gone shopping and you have one bag full of food. You get home and take the food out of the bag. Your bag doesn't have anything left in it any more so we can get rid of it But you still have the food.

The same goes for your zip file. You've extracted the files - so the .zip file has nothing in it any more. So you can delete it But you still have the files in the place you extracted them to.

Sorry to use childish methods of explaining this, I started writing it out in full and it was just horrible to read!
