Zip locking 2 fans together = more suction or not worth it

about 2 weeks ago i ordered 2 cool masters that run at 90CFM, i relized that i could not drill holes where i wanted to to the case that easily so i just zip locked the 2 together behind my heatsink which also has a fan.

I am noticing a great increase on suction to the front case where i have mesh filtering dust and making the air cool but. Is this efficient?

That depends on your case configuration, and what fan provisions you have for exhausting the air. If you have more air coming in than going out, you have positive pressure, and this can cause internal temperature to rise.

Try this: With an ordinary bicycle pump, place your thumb over the output and operate the pump. As the pressure builds up (positive pressure), you should feel the barrel of the pump get hotter.

I actually recommend a balanced approach. My system has two 90mm fans on front drawing cool air into the case. On the rear, there is a single 120mm fan which, together with the fans inside the PSU, exhausts the by now warmer air from the case back into the open air. Any imbalance is counteracted by the case vents, and cool air is also drawn in through them. Because the airflow is balanced, the exhausted air is only slightly warmer than the air being drawn in.

i like my case set up and air is getting out btw it pushes out like a vacuum so its coming in from the front and exiting from the back really well not much noise too its just a bit of a hum
