HELLO EVERYONE...

well 3 days ago i was playing a game on my pc and then i shut down my pc sucessfully. When next day i turned it on I couldnt see anything on my screen.
The monitor LED was blipping and blipping and i couldnt see anything on my monitor.
then i checked all the connections everything was fine den i switched my display from graphic card one to default monitor and the display came back but what i see is

"SYSTEM BOOT FAIL" press F1 to continue.
the system ran smoothly but i couldnt use my graphic card display because it shows no display..
I TRIED THE FOLLOWING THINGS

1. UPDATED MY BIOS
2. CHANGED THE MOTHERBOARD CELL.
3. CLEANED MY CPU THOROUGHLY EACH AND EVERY PART.
but nothing seems to work

now everytime i run my pc it takes atleast 10 seconds more than usual to start up and every time it shows me system boot failure press f1 to continue.
I checked other threads also but couldnt find my solution...
please help!!!

It sounds like two problems. First, there's a Windows problem and then a graphics card issue (unless it shows an error in safe mode because it's regular driver is not loaded).

I guess your only option is to try to do a Windows repair. If you can do that and get it to boot up, you might have to replace your graphics card.

Can you check if you have a setting in the BIOS to set the graphics to be on the graphics card or the onboard one? Some motherboards have it and I believe it could be a reason. If the graphics card works great on another computer as you stated, it's either Windows (probably a driver) or a wrong setting in the BIOS. Of course there are other possible reasons, but that's what I think it could be for now.

Update the driver for your graphics card from the manufacturer's website (Don't have Windows check for it). Since you just reinstalled Windows, it's using the latest Windows driver. I'm assuming you have updated Win 7 after the reinstall. Which graphics card do you have?

However, that has nothing to do with the error message during the POST.

Do you have the graphics card installed in the correct slot? Is the power connection correct?

I don't know which driver is installed on your friend's computer. You might try rolling yours back.

What happens if you install your friends graphics card on your system?

The yellow icon is telling you something is wrong.

As I mentioned, you can try rolling back the driver. Sometimes, the latest driver causes problems. Any problems are documented at NVIDIA.com where you select to download the drivers.

Using your friends card would be ideal for troubleshooting this problem.

One thing you could do is get the Microsoft Fix-It from Microsoft.com and run the section on video problems. You could also use it as an aid to troubleshoot the other error.

When you say monitor pin, I'm assuming you're talking about a full plug, either VGA, DVI or HDMI, depending on your card and monitor. I also assume your using the correct connections on your GPU to your monitor. You could check both ends of the plug and the GPU and monitor connectors to make sure there's no bent pins. I don't know anything about which monitor you have. I see your card uses either a single or dual DVI connector and you need an adapter for HDMI.

The driver issue can also be tested, as i mentioned earlier.
