Once you download the tool called "YUMI", open it up and we will continue from there.

We can do this step from any computer. Just make sure you have your USB plugged in.

We'll have to format the USB, so make sure theres no files you want to lose on there.

Do not follow the tutorial 100%, I'm going to change "windows installation" with a tool that will help you.

Once you reach step 5), scroll down towards the bottom of the list (System Tools), click on HDT (hardware detecting tool), and on the side click the check box that says "download the img (optional)."

Then continue with the tutorial.

I'm glad to see changkuotai was able to get into safe mode with no problem. But wouldn't it be a good idea to now try rebooting and letting the system start up normally? Or do you think that there might be some virus infestation that brought on the problem initially?

At the moment I just want him to run a few tests to make sure that his computer doesn't need new hardware, but I think that my initial idea was right when I mentioned his power supply.

If you haven't gone through with the testing yet, just give your computer a restart and play around with it, perhaps download this tool and see if you have any viruses.

But first, log into your laptop normally and go on the internet and test it out, play some music, make sure that it doesnt turn off by itself.

I am on step 5 now and when I ckeck "opted to download the img", there is one window pop up asking where I should save the file?? should I save the file and where?

Save it on your desktop or in your downloads folder, anywhere is fine as long as you remember where you put it.

ok, now i have inserted the usb to the pronlem laptop and restart normally. I played the music and it was normal.

Now i am going to restart it and choose the BIOS mode?

when I hit esc or f8 or f11, the YUMI welcome screen showed asking if I want to start it by using YUMI. without response in time, it did restart by using YUMI (I assumed) and now it is under window log in screen. should I log in now?
