idk every time i try to attch the minidump files that i moved to my desktop it tells me i dont have permission, and i keep geting kickd to the bsod, This my help tho, my neph was downloading a movie yesterday, and he said it requird additonl codecs, he allowed but then canceld, and my system restore is off for some reason??

i have a window that says admin on it it is executing program 1 of 3 is this what i need ?

I am feeling bad buddy. I want to help but I am not getting the information.
The information is suppose to be there when I open. When I open yours it begins to load and then its the wrong information.
Start over, do this one step at a time. Read each step.

clik start, type windows mini dump it appears i clik then i see the files

Can you go directly to the location? Click on the C drive, what do you see if you click on windows mini dump?
Dont get discouraged, if I cant get this to work, Ill get the author of the tutorial to help.

If you can click on c
you will see windows click on that
then you should see mini dump. Try to follow the tutorial from that point.

It starts off correctly, but then it says cannot file path specified.
Tell me what your setting say
Go to advanced setting like I told you before it should say
Small memory dump
path:%SystemRoot/mindidump
Is this what you have it set on?
