Im sorry but so far i cant get any more info because i cant log in before it freezes or gets a blue screen. I cant really do anything but turn it on. I just got a blue screen bad pool caller 0x00000c2 that i havent seen before. One of the blue screens said dxgkrnl.sys. Is that the bad file?

I'm wondering if the fan on your cpu or GPU is running properly. Your system may be overheating. I realize it runs longer in Safe Mode than when Windows is loaded but this kind of behavior fits.

Also, when you replaced the memory sticks, did you put them in the correct slots and are they the same kind.

The fans are working but they do seem a little loud. How do i check? I took out one of my ram cards but have not replaced it yet. Do i need to? Thanks.

My Computer

There is a lot of free software out there that will monitor your cpu and gpu fan speeds and temperatures. I had a couple of them installed and uninstalled them. For the life of me, I can't remember their names. Hopefully, one of the other guys will recommend one. If the fans are really dirty, you should clean them.

When you install RAM, it has to be installed in the correct slot (s). You would need to look at the motherboard manual to see what that is. However, if you put the new RAM in the same slot (s) where the old was, you shouldn't have to worry. You should definitely reinstall the RAM (obviously, it's not going to do any good if it's not installed). Note that when you install new RAM and you install more than one stick, the specifications of each stick should be identical to the other.

Ok ill look around for the software. My computer is allways clean so thats not it but they still might be bad. im working on geting some new ram and then that will be good. Thanks.

My Computer

I have been looking around and have found some software. HWMonitor, speedfan, realtemp, heavyload, occt, system stability tester, intelburntest, prime95, and core temp. Do you recommed any of these?

My Computer

I recommend the HWMonitor. It's the last one I had (I kept thinking it started with HW but couldn't remember the rest). You should be able to run that in Safe Mode.

You should be able to see your fan speeds and temperatures for both the cpu and gpu when running HWMonitor and you select Sensor. You would then need to know the temperature limits for the cpu and gpu for comparison. If you can get the sensor information showing on your screen, you could take a screenshot and post it here.

Since you said it takes a while to freeze while in safe mode, you should monitor the temperatures with the system just sitting there in safe mode to see what they're doing.

Well im trying to run the program but it seems that safe mode will not let me in anymore. Nothing i try will let me log on for more that a few secs if i can log on at all. I will keep on trying. If it is the fan is there something i could do to help me get more time when i log on? Thanks.
