How to ask for help

People being confused also gets them angry, not anyones fault but it is human nature. Give people a little bit of leaway when replying to a post. If someone does start to get a bit harrased tell them to calm down and explain in simpler terms or give them a web link to a written document that will explain things better.

With that much I might as well buy vista all over again, I mean at 130 dollars right now my pc might upgrade itself. Does it take credit card too?...or where do I add my PIN...Lol

I agree with everything said here...it was a good thing to post this as a sticky for future reference...I even have it bookmarked for other software forums as a reference on how to make a good forum on technical issues.

Keep up the good work!!:D

Okay then, here's mine: For a reason beyond me, I cannot send PMs. I've read the FAQs but they haven't been very helpful. I'm sure the reason is simple enough, but I would appreciate it if some one could tell me what it is.

You only have a post count of 6. PM's are disabled until you reach a certain count ( possibly 10 IIRC )

TY Kind Sir(or Maam-whichever the case may be). I do not consider myself to be a novice, but I don't feel I'm a intermediate either...somewhere in between. Anyway, thank you for posting that cuz I know that it will help me as well as many others.
So again, thank you.

difference between 32 bit and 64 bit

Hi yogeshagrawal, Welcome to Vista x64,

This thread is not the place to answer your question. You'll need to post your question in the appropiate forum (General Forum). Also, you should do a search here as well as Google as this question has been asked and answered thousands of times.

You could take a look at this article to get a sense of what 64-bit is about: http://www.vistax64.com/vista-news/99613-64-bit-more-than-just-ram.html

Thanks and good luck.
