neeed help!!

boot my computer do you mean shut down and turn back on again then listen for the beeps? i think i have done factory specs before and it didnt help with the problem but il do it again if need, maybe i done something wrong.

When you did it this, did you have to reinstall your programs?

If they are quarantined, that is fine for now.

i cant actually remember what happen because it was back in October but i think i just followed the instructions to set it up as i was ment to do, then i tried to run a cd game soon after but the computer just crashed the game after a few mins and shut it down, i think it went back to the desktop but i try to play the game or another game after and it crashed again.

just did and it seemed like there was only one beep, it seemed normal?

it wasn't long, it went about the same speed it takes to say beep.

One beep is usually ok, but I have to look it up, for your specific case. Will be back.

Listen, I will not forget about you. If I have to go, I will post as soon as I can.

Listen, I am sorry. Stoney gave a list of potential areas of concern; one was motherboard. One beep means mother board, also. If you had this problem from the beginning, maybe you should have returned it.

Motherboard has to be checked out.

One last thing the MB problem is proballby the memory circut. Everything fits. Memory would cause the freezes and BSOD.

Nice meeting you.

Have you run the HDD diagnostics software yet, if not, give that a try.

Have you run the HDD diagnostics software yet, if not, give that a try.

if you mean run memory diagnostics tools, i done that twice and found no errors.

Going to factory specs will not help, it appears as a hardware problem. The mb, memory circuits seem like the most likely cause. You have to get that checked out.

I think it is a likely cause that your computer may be having hardware problems, since reinstalling vista didn't work for you. So we should concentrate troubleshooting hardware.

It looks like it might be mother board, memory circuits and Stoney is leaning toward hard drive.
