Just a note I once had ABR fail to run again after I had installed but you are still able to open the file it makes and cut and paste you activation code.worked sweet.

Only if your computer can boot from a USB drive
I would use a DVD if it was me.

do you know where i can get a good torrent this one is horrible only 5 seeds and im dloading at about 50kb/sec normally i can dload at about 2.3MB/sec

Be warned this will take some time to do. The Windows updates take a long time to finish. Then you have to reinstall all your favorite programs and do all the tweaks you like.
Last time I did mine it took 20 hours to complete with all programs and tweaks but I ended up with a clean fast computer.
If you are using a torrent file for your ISO I would scan it with MalwareBytes first.

The Movie the Patriot is based on Swamp Fox, who comes from the ares. parts of the Movie were filmed in Charleston and Mt Pleasant (at one of the plantations)

After you have your system up and setup how you like it get an external hard drive and take an image of your disc and save it to that. It will make it a lot faster to restore if you ever have to do it again. I use Macrium Reflect Free.

have you ever used or heard anything about a SATA dock i have a brand new never used WD 500GB SATA hard drive that i would love to use and i can get one off amazon.com for like 20 bucks

I've never had the need for a dock and haven't looked at them
I use two external drives for media.

Sorry I took so long to answer You want to burn the image to disc.

Sounds like you are just about ready to start. Run the ABR, save it and any files you want to keep to another hard drive or USB stick. Restart your computer and look at the bottom of the screen and you will see how to get into the boot menu.
You will only be able to use the arrow keys and you have to get the DVD to the top,
Some computers will only let you move things down not up so move any above the DVD to below the DVD entry.
Put in the disc you have just made and it will start the install.
Did you read the Tutorial by Brink that I sent you the link for as it will show you what to expect to see.
Should see you back here in about 20 hours.

so i did what you said but it only took about 45 min to do it all up (is it possible im running 2 vistas now i didnt need to dload any updates)

That doesn't sound correct could you please go to computer,right click,manage,disc management and take a snip with the snipping tool and post it.

Is it working alright or are there problems.


EDIT: could you also go to the start search box type cmd hold shift and ctrl press enter. this will open a command prompt in administrator mode.
In the box that opens type SFC /SCANNOW
note the space before scannow.
This will check your system files.
