No HDMI sound or speak/headphones sound

I have been looking at their computers. They have some nice Desktops : ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

Well, so, using the built in speakers , hmmmm. Don't you have some external speakers to plug in ?

Did you check the digital output? As far as I can tell, you have built in speakers. However, way back when, it says there is no audio device.

For some reason, I had the idea that you have a laptop.

Back in post 48, you showed the RealTek configuration screen. When I asked about the Digital Output, I was talking about the tab shown in your screen shot.

I don't see any mention of Realtek or audio devices. I only see the ATI controller for audio.

How many speakers do you have plugged in? Are they connected correctly? Do you need a power supply to power them? Do you have a power switch? (I have a 7.1 system and there is a separate power supply and a switch for turning the speakers on and off and controlling BASS.)

Are you saying that you have only one speaker connected?

There are six audio ports. I would try plugging into the gray, black or yellow and see if it makes any difference.

You do have the Realtek chipset. I think you should try switching the driver from the Radeon to the Realtek and then try doing the configure.

You didnt tell me how many speakers you have.
Did you try the other ports? If so, did the Realtek software ask you if you installed a speaker whenever you plugged into a port?

Go to Control Panel, Device manager, Sound, etc. Is the Realtek High Definition Audio listed? If it it, right click on it and scan for hardware changes.

Was Realtek listed under Sound in Device Manager?
