Solved ****problems model a6460a *** hp vista

In startup untick Nero. Tell me if you work better. Start from boot and then go to the internet.

If malwarebytes is on startup untick that too. Not needed at start up. MSE checks for Malware. Scan with malwarebytes once a week to be sure nothing was missed
ok i have done both , still 2.00 minutes to get on, 3 minutes to get on the net,

the gb has dropped as you can see i dont no if that was removing the two items from start up ..

im really not sure what else i can do to drop the (gb) down as im sure it was running at one stage on 1.12

How much time do you think that we saved so far. From desktop to internet?

Remove Defender, and all Nero from startup. and then see if it speeds up.

You said somewhere that you have automtic defrag, thats not good and it takes time to load, shut it down. Defag 3 times a year, unless your download a lot of programs or uninstall often.

removing nero and spyware , takes approx , 2 minutes to get on to the net ..i think what maybe taking up time is waiting for the (netgear) to load that is the program used for the wireless internet connection,

We seem to have done most of the things that could to speed up your computer, but the change has been negligible. At the beginning of the thread Stoney gave you our tutorial on the subject, and you even brought the computer in for repair and the speed could not be changed. I think that the problem lies with netgear (as you do) and the only solution there would be to replace netgear.

You are not going to get much better than what you have with the boot. Mine takes about 90 seconds.

Lets be concerned with the internet connection
Troubleshoot network connection problems

in refer to all this my pc now start after 10 seconds , that is on the net running from start up to use of the net ,

i reformat my pc now myslef and i no what to delete from factory and what not to , i spent last few months by trial and error and i know no alot more than i did lol ...thanks for all ur help and i try to help others now :)

My Computer

Im really glad that you got it sorted out. While I was helping you, I began to think about my own booting time. I reduced it down to 30 seconds. I can probably do better, but I am satisfied.
