I understood it the same way that you did. Somethings were fixed others were not.

is that with the microsoft fix it? as i did not know what to make of it? or the event viewer.

so something was fixed then is it related to the problem do you think?

and do you think the event viewer logs "critical" are related as they seem to have same dates times as the freezes.

would you suggest go ahead still and remove the updates then re-install one by one. to find the bad one. if that does not help remove them all and leave them off i.e hide them...

ok i will i was jut searching for my event viewer problem online and found this :

It won't wake up

so i checked it out and in my power plan hybrid sleep was set to on (i restored defaults) and it changed it to off so i will see if that offers ay improvement to the citica event viewer log isue

and it may may not be related to the restart after windows update issue i will report back any problems i have or if i have none


if it persists ill try removing the updates and re-install them 1 at a time til i find the bad one if that proves unsucsessfull i will uninstall all updates back to when the probem 1st occurred and leave them off (hide them)

i have just restarted and it restarted fine everything loaded as usual with no freeze. (however that was just a plain restart -not a restart whilst installing/configuring a windows update.) so i guess i will have to wait for an update that needs a restart to come in and see what happens then....
before i get my hopes up on it being fixed but so far so good "fingers crossed"
