I bought it new in 2008, so it's already a few years old. Still it's not outdated for my use and I would like to continue using it for at least 2 years more.

When running Memtest86+ it said:

Have you ever updated your BIOS. If it is not up to date, you should have it updated. If you are not familiar with the procedure do not do it yourself.
I dont know if I will be here much more, today. Hurricane is here and if it gets bad I will probably lose power and I may go to a shelter. KK will continue to help in that event.

Do you think BIOS could be responsible for all those different kinds of errors? I never updated it, no, so I don't know much about that.
Are you sure that drivers don't have anything to do with it? And is there any way for me to verify this? The driver verifier from Windows doesn't point anything out.

Hurricane doesn't sound good. Good luck with that.

As to others, I will be very happy with any help on this issue..

I have been doing this for a while now. The mini dmp reports are very accurate. Each one gives a little clue. When they are consisten like yours they are most usually correct. Your problem is with memory. Why it does not show, I dont know. If you want to test the drivers, the only was is driver verifier and that came up negative. If you want to update drivers, you can do that.

Yes, I know. It's just that I'm so puzzled about it that I would like check everything there is to check.
Is it likely that if I would buy new RAM that the problems will be solved?

I just checked the Dell website with my service code. It gives me the following list with drivers. I don't know if it's of any use downloading the mentioned drivers like the BIOS one?

I would not buy new ram, yet. The problem could be with your motherboard.
How long did you test your memory?

OK
Sorry I missed that before.
Only people who are familiar with a BIOS update should attempt it. If not done probably it can bork your computer. Do not attempt to do it yourself unless qualified.
But, it should be updated.
I read the portion of the theread that was worked on while I was asleep. The two drivers that are mentioned are from this software.
Make a system restore point and uninstall the software
If the software McAfee is still uninstalled. Uninstall the drivers. If it cannot be done. Go to the actual driver and change the .sys to .bup. boot and then see if you still get bsods.
